Texas. I could wax on and on about what a great place this is. It really does have a little bit of everything all in one great big huge expanse of real estate. If you're looking for great food, great music, changeable weather, big cities, small towns, beaches, rivers, lakes (most aren't natural), deserts, mountains, hills, prairies, whatever. You name it, we got it. Come down and visit us sometime, we're real neighborly and love to show off the Lone Star State.

There is nothing more glorious in this world than the landscapes that God has created. I try to capture these phenomenal places with my camera, but am humbled every time. I'll never be able to completely replicate the wonders that exist in this world. . . but I try.

I simply adore all the street art that is so prevalent in Houston. We have many great artists whose work is showcased around the city. We even have our own Mural Festival every year where worldwide artists come in and put their work up on our buildings. Now in my travels I often seek out street art as part of my investigation of new places. The colors and the artistry are so diverse and wonderful. I just adore it!
Glenwood Cemetery was established as a private cemetery in 1871 and opened for business in the summer of 1872.
Houstonians of the late 19th century considered Glenwood to be not only a cemetery but a landscaped park. Streetcars brought visitors to Glenwood on pleasant Sunday afternoons.
It is still a beautifully maintained destination near downtown Houston. It is a treasure trove of local history and includes graves of many of the area’s prominent founding citizens.
